In middle school Jinx Manzoon joined a group of friends who Larped for three hours. The experience showed her that there are people in the world who want to play make believe with you. Then it wasn't long after that she saw her first drag show and started doing drag. She also loved Amanda Palmer's dress, which was like not a band my parents listened to when I found myself. Her advice: "If you are just honest about having an interest in something you might find people who share that interest"
