The Two Views of Time

The region that's outside the cone, these are events that are called its space like separation. Those have no definite temporal order with respect to the finger snap. Now if you and I tried to snap our fingers at space like separation, we couldn't do it because we're too far away. And so if you're light years away, then that region can get quite large. The further away you get, the bigger that region gets.
