The colonials were amalgamations of flesh and nerves constructed together. Though they didn't look human, they still had very human eyes under a massive section of blubber. They are said to have a small trace of human spark and intelligence left within them. However, they were mostly animal. Their entire species and culture revolved around violence and killing. It took a major role in their development and evolution.
