The Last Act of Freedom

Peter's death is a consummation or as Ronner will later say a final act of freedom. Peter in this way only becomes Peter the moment he's crucified upside down and passes from this world. We can tell a lot about death on a physiological level. But this is experienced in veilness or hiddenness. What you see on the philosophical level is substantial change. One kind of entity becoming another kind of entity. The body is not even really a body anymore.
