To find out more, we spoke to kurstand cossa, a south africa base researcher for africa check - an independent fact checking organization. There's no real research at the south african context that we could really use to deduce anything about how much stress has gone up in South Africa. But on a global scale, the world health organization released a report that found an increase in anxiety disorders compared to before the pandemic.
