The Importance of Markup Validation
I was still doing primarily web design when Zeldman's orange book came out. It was a revelation for me because he just made the pitch of saying like you're putting words and images into onto a server where a computer can look at it. There's so many good reasons first of all to have markup that validates, which is why browsers bent over backwards to accommodate broken markup in the 90s. That's that's the thing it just feels just respect. I don't compare obviously any like disability with a sexuality gender or race but like it always feels like you put a flag outside of your bank like it doesn't.
