Socialism and Human Development
One of the main goals of socialism originally was human development. Their main critique of capitalism was that it prevented people from being able to reach their potential. And a socialist society should provide everyone with equal access to the means to develop themselves. Yet, when i see socialists who want a much better society still includes most people having to go to work all day at jobs they don't like in order to meet production quotas. They want the exact opposite of that.
