Andrea ryasborough: The way she was excluded from the Oscars by basically by the risebrow nomination didn't sit well. Director of till chinoia chuku denounced the film industry for upholding whiteness and also for perpetuating an unabashed misogyny towards black women. If we're still dealing with systemic racism in this country that carries us from the loss of emit there's a trickle-down effect of how racism impacts our lives, says ryasborough.
