I Think the Weakest Part of This Book Was the Side Characters

I feel like ther were a lot of missed opportunities with characters. In my opinion, the weakest part of this book was the side characters. I almost want like, e of upis haven. Don't have the sequel yet, but i almost went oer that would have been,. If brigand was the one to have, like, successfully taken on death roys. And so i wonder whether that might have been, where that could have gone.
