The Holographic Principle

Both of us were convinced that black holes are no different than other ordinary kinds of systems. But to make sense out of that, it was necessary to think that the place where stuff gets lost behind functioned as a kind of hologram. And eventually it was what both the Tofte and I came to the conclusion that the world is a hologram. That is just enough to stop it.
