Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Says Russian and Wagner Group Forces Have Gotten Footholds West of the Backmooter River
UK Defense Intelligence says Russia and Wagner Group forces have obtained footholds west of the backmooter river. However, more broadly across the front line, Russia is conducting some of the lowest rates of local offensive action that have been seen since at least January 2023. This is most likely because Russian forces have temporarily depleted the deployed formations combat power to such an extent that even local offensive actions are not currently sustainable. Slovakia said it's going to donate 13 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. Bratislava will also deliver a cub medium range surface to a missile system to Ukraine.
