How Did You Get Started With Amazon Home Assistant?

i'd used the amazon devices for quite some time, just by them ys, as the hub, so to speak. But at some point i wanted more than what the amazon ito system was giving. I started out with a raspberry pie three and a naste card, which, as i'm sure you can imagine, didn't work so well. After doing a little more search, found that it should work a lot better on a pie for but it really needed to not be on an est card. And id the research and figured out how to have a home assistant set up where the raspberry pie was running the home assistant o s and was booted from an external drive.
