Are There Any Countries to Day That Are Well Functioning Islamic States?
There are a number of countries in the world to day that, at various points in the twentieth century, announce themselves as islamic states. The most well known examples there are, of course, a souti, arabia, pacistan and iron. In all those cases, the the islamic nature of the state was not one that came about through a popular, a political activity. More recently, however, what we've seen is a trend whereby from the 19 late nineties onwards, many islamis parties became fairly normalized,. i entering parliament when elected and leaving parliament when they lost their elections.
