A more interesting study to me would be if they took one group and told them eat the fruits that have really advantageous healthy fiber to carb ratios. I bet those would be two very different groups, wouldn't they? And dates are delicious. They're essentially a natural sugar alternative. You can reduce them down into dates syrup. It's paleo though.
