Introduction

Pence: I think one of the things that has contributed to the greatness of this country is our adherence to the written constitution. And frankly, I think it's a way forward for unity in our country. The whole idea of a strict construction of the constitution is don't look at outcomes. Just apply what the constitution says to the facts in that moment. Let's work here if you want to amend the constitution, amend the constitution.
