Do Waterfall Projects Differ From Construction Projects?

i actually have a background in construction, so i start as an engineer before i got into softwater. Constructiont some things have to be done correctly up front and decided, because it's really hard to change your mind. A lot of things need to be changed about the way they're designed or built. I'm not sure we can accurately predict how things are going to work strictly fromp some things we can.
