Introduction
St. Irenaeus was born about 100 years after our Lord's Passion around the year 130. He lived in Asia Minor, actually in the city of Smyrna. Pope Bank the 16th called him the first Church theologian who created systematic theology. Dr. John C. Horne is a Dean and Professor of Theology at the Augusta Institute Graduate School of Theology.
