The new testament is going to move away from all this condemnation and despair, they're moving towards hope. In the pre assyrian period, god's really sending a bunch of warning into even more trouble than he did before. And now that everyone has experienced the woes and we start head-to-head with them, things are going to get much better for people in Israel.
