Are We Doing More Than We're Doing?
Ransom ware is just a manifestation of a bad guy that's figured out how to monotize a vulnerable or misconfigured system. The systems we use are still too hard to secure and a little too easy to exploit. Russia has given a safe haven to a number of these siber criminals to operate with impunity, just as long as you don't hack russian or commonwealth of independent state countries. And sometimes security seen as a cost center and infriction. So we're doing better. We can do more.
