Is the Big Bang Still a Creation Myth?
Lometra was the progenitor of the big bank model of the universe. He believed precisely that everything came into being 13.8 billion years ago but he was also a Catholic priest and he believed this discovery was proof of the existence of God. So I suppose what I'm asking is how far have things moved on in the field since then? What do modern cosmologists actually think? And is the big bang still actually a creation myth snuck in by the back door? Well there's a few questions there I suppose.
