The Problem With Gun Policy in the United States
We have 50 different gun policies at the level of states. And it's not entirely clear what happens when they conflict. For example, here in my home state of Pennsylvania, this is a shell issue state. You get a very similar set of circumstances in New York state with New York city having even more draconian laws than the rest of the state. So what we're looking at here is an absolute patchwork of policies. I don't think it would be possible even for a regular person to look them all up and make a rational plan to follow all the rules"
