i line myself with the kiljoys in this, if not in all things. It was interesting to work in e costume and like to think about costume and textile history. This type of work that is about preserving artifacts that are decorative, fundamentally decorative objects. What was interesting about maryland monroe, and tragic about her at that moment, was just that she was this american avatar of vulnerability.
