Is There a Forest in McDoey?

I've been a member of the Keurn Gorn Club for over 50 years now. The club had its centenary in 1987, and we were trying to think what to do as a celebration to remember it by. One of our members said there must be remnants of woodlands that could be regenerated. In discussion, Piper's Wood and Glen I came up. As soon as we fenced off the area, they saw her to grow, and now there's a forest there.
