The Role of the Apple Watch

Johnny ive oversaw the design of everything with a watch, including things like the straps. Tim cook came from the operations side and he flipped that relationship. Operations would ultimately determine which design elements could move forward and which ones wouldn't. He wanted to make this watch something that would, again, transcend tak gadgets and then be worthy in the world of fashion.
