Is There a Code of Ethics for the Supreme Court?
The supreme court, we know, is the only federal court that does not currently have to follow a code of ethics. The lower federal courts do have codes of ethics that they have to abide by. But as we've seen recently, even when lower court judges flagrantly violate ethical rules regarding their own financial interests, there aren't really any consequences.
