The assimilator was the first real instrument that is enabled people to play with it. The famous, well, kind of a cult favorite of the emu modular was the universal active filter. That actually is phase modulation, but it's not too arbitrary waveforms. We couldn't, you know, it had been done before. People were just doing it on computers and like, you know,. see music and things like that.
