i pitch shipping as something everybody should be interested in, just for knowledge and fascination. If you're trading or investing in shipping stocks, i think the best part about this industry is that the first gut reaction, common sense, is usually wrong. In term of the shipping economics, disruption is always favorable. But most folks look at disruption and think, you know, it's bad. So, like, a lot of shipping stocks went down after the russian invasion yucrane for a few days, which created an exceptional buying opportunity. I was bowlish on shipping bill, and i didn't see the containership rates going this highlike amer it exceeded my wildest expectations.
