How to Avoid Follow-Ups
If you're working on longer, more involved projects with multiple stakeholders, other people will likely want and need more visibility into your progress. Communicating consistent updates on the status of major projects is generally enough to avoid excessive follow-ups. If there have been differences in opinions on priorities between a boss and a direct report, sending out your weekly or daily plans can also help ease tension.
