Scientist believed that plants had some type of telepathic awareness, and that this awareness can also be altered by the presence of human consciousness. Cleve baxter's experiment was inconclusive but still a lot of people maintain an open mind about it because it's fascinating. Science does know that there's a network of fungus that cooperates with plants and trees like an internet.
