Into the Raging Sea
This story is crazy. Alfred Lansing wrote this book in like the 50s, like 1957 or something like this on Shackleton. Amazing. I think that it would be like, I almost, I wish my kids were about younger, I'd read it aloud. Into the Raging Sea by Rachel Slate. It is a work of an investigative journalism about the sinking of the USS Alfaro in 2015. And it is both, both haunting because it pulls heavily from the recovery of the livestock support and a strong deploy to the ship.
