Do You Think Democracy Can Be Enacted in Politics?
There seem to be two things there for me. One is a matter of giving people a certain level of respect according to dignity, because they are people with a vision of how we should live. But the other one is much more pragmatic, that you don't want a position of conflict where you're turning somebody who disagrees with you into your literal enemy. And i think you cat it very nicely, that it is indeed a matter of dignity, at least, civic dignity. My fellow citizen is accorded and deserves to be accorded a certainlevel of respect,. A certain level of recognition. does not deserve to be subject to humiliation. Does not deserve to being treated as a child.
