How Do You Get Kids to Use These Skills?

In three quarters of families, the teen didn't like using those skills. In 50% of families, they believed that there was no point because they're not a good student anyways. The parent was helping so much that the teendidn't even have an opportunity to do things on their own. Some parents are sick of it and just feel like their kid doesn't appreciate what they've done.
