The Darkness of Holy Wednesday
Palm Sunday is when Jesus rides into Jerusalem on the donkey and people are throwing palm leaves in a sense of celebration. They were expecting this big conquering king and Jesus just takes this humble road. Why is Holy Wednesday often marked by darkness? Yeah, Holy Wednesday is always a tricky one. So it's a time when Judas betrayed Jesus. It's a part of the week where there's a betrayal just before there is horror.
