CNN's John Sutter and a co-founder of resemble.ai had their voices swapped in an interview. The technology is called Text to Speech or TTS, which was used by Resemble for this experiment. Both men found it difficult to tell that something was wrong with the recording. But they were both right about one thing: It wasn't real.
