The Power of Joy
Jesus is basically giving us a picture of joy of the potential for joy to not be a fleeting high, but to be one of our character traits. By including joy on the list of the 10 characteristics it's characteristic number five by putting on that list. And so we're not like going out there trying to find things to make us joyful. It's just a natural part of who we are, and it will come out when we get the fear and the harmfulness out of the way.
