Paul was using baptism for the dead as evidence to bolster their belief in the resurrection. In a single verse, he just passes over baptized for the dead in a mention with no explanation suggesting that he didn't consider any explanation necessary. They're not having to explain eternal marriage or bring this up like, well, what if, no, they're assuming that. It's complicated by coupling it with leverer marriage to try to make the entire foundation of eternity resurrection at all seem impossible, seem irrational.
