Some people think that as passive ETFs are growing in the space, that is affecting prices. The vast majority of equity Exchange Traded Fund trading is done in the secondary market. Of those 6 trillion andETFs trade $35 trillion a year, I'd probably say only 5%. to 7% of it is creation redemption activity where they are messing with the underlying.
