The Emergence of Play

Play is a fascinating process that is mammalian. There are many researchers that study mammalian play and they look at it as training for the unexpected. But what's beautiful about play is it removes the actual real-life consequences, so that multiple pathways can be explored and experimented with. Play also allows them to really see their own preferences and their likes and dislikes  and this is all part of that individuation process.
