Left Handedness, Language and the Brain

Left handers are quite harmless to a cultural society. There isn't really a reason to persecute them, other than that they are different. Left handedness probably comes about through the absence of right handedness. It seems to be there in the majority of people from birth. You can certainly build up a lot of skill with the left hand, even if you're right handed. I asked michael corbalis what he considers the most important lesson from his decades of research into handedness, language and the brain.
