Is There a Difference Between Tonality and Reactivity?
The way you say something doesn't change the intellectual merit or the logic of what you're saying, but it certainly changes how it's going to be received. And so where Stephen Fry probably naturally does it is because he is a performer and a very witty man as well. The conversations we need to have are beyond reactivity. They're genuine inquiries into where is this person coming from? What does this person got to teach me? That's tied into the emotionality or otherwise of the way that this is delivered.
