Women's cycling was just going to keep going up and up. But what happened was suddenly the Tour de France gained more American audience. Suddenly we had these big races primarily in the East Coast with no women. And I think that that gave permission almost to whether it was USA cycling or just the sponsors just say, oh, well, we don't need the women.
