The Magno Line
A blanket condemnation of the entire idea of the Magno line is certainly unfair and ignores the very real problems that the French were trying to solve. The basic concept of static series of defenses all connected together with strong points and a vast number of supporting positions would prove strong enough for the Germans to be forced to find a way around them. We will have to apply the same principles to all of the events in Europe as it lunges from one crisis to another over the next several months, which will represent several years of real-time history.
