i wondered if there isn't an analogy between your understanding of technology as something that you design, but then has unpredictable consequences. You know, when you write a short story, you write it with one or multiple intended meanings. How the world then takes that story and how it finds readers is really up to them. i think story telling is probably the most important technology that humans possess. We are fundamentally committed to our values because of stories that we believe in.
