Judge shrater has been described as the kind of judge who gives the defence a lot of leeway to present their case. In court houses across the country that there are defendants, particularly defendants of color, who aren't getting that wide berth to defend themselves. And they're also not having a defense team like the one that kaile ritton house has, that was funded by donations largely raised in conservative circles.
