The most challenging part about being a contractor is the whole feast in famine concept of finding work. My secret weapon it's keeping notes on paper. I keep a separate note pad for every client and also have an excel file where i tally the data for each day. Unfortunately, more than a few times, i've found myself working four in the morning to ten o'clock at night to meet milestones i've agreed to. But what i will say is that you should a carefully track your time,. And eliminate any ry or unproductive habits. anything that pays zero dollars per hour or doesn't involve quality time with your family and friends.
