The Week in Art

CHAPTER

Is It Better to Have a Dialogue Between Artists Than Not?

There will be people who will say that this is a classic case of art washing. Its using art to cover up for appalling human rights abuses. But the fact is, there are also souly artists that are represented in this show too. It's not just about using big international names to come over and drop them into the space and and use that to art wash. There are also local artists involved. So therrere local artist. I'm glad it's on show in such a public setting. You know, i was looking at shesar darwiod's piece. I do think that it's better to begin to have that dialogue rather than never having it take place.
