How Do You Write Good Writing?

I generally start around 11 am and in broad strokes, try to write from 11 to five. Some days I just whip right through it and start writing the next chapter. And then after that, you know, and good writing is rewriting. So I will dive into those that chapter and make changes and hope make improvements. If I'm happy with what I wrote, I will then read it to my spouse,. which she gets home from work and she was an English major.
