Sharon Davies has written a book which combines the doping controversies of her actual career with the trans controversies of her post-career. There were top opportunities in the 1970s for black swimmers to win medals in the Olympic Games and never did, denied by Dopers. Do they fight to stay narrowly focused on sport? Or do they allow that expansion? I mean, like you could very quickly become a conference about women's rights dealing with domestic abuse,. violence towards women in prisons, a whole bunch of societal issues as well. So it'll be interesting to see how icons develop.
