A Look Back in Time - Dorothy Arnold
The Arnold family of the Upper East Side of Manhattan were basically wealthy socialites whose main job was to just kind of be wealthy. Dorothy Arnold was the second of four children born in 1885 to Mary Parks and Francis Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a perfume importer who boasted that he could trace his family lines straight back to the Mayflower.
