The Importance of Identity in Our Culture

Jesus of Nazareth always kind but never shy about his role as the son of God and king. Jesus in a sense is saying I refuse to be liked or made in your image. There's no middle ground if you're actually gonna see me for who I am, he says. The thing about identity that's crazy is like there's a very disorienting and painful part of becoming a Christian with our identity because we live in the expressive individual stick age where we look inside ourselves for our identity markers.
